Finnegan's Wake - Chapter One

I have tried, by cannot for the life of me, read this book. I have also tried reading it aloud but with disastrous results. Hearing it as the spoken word works well I think. The power, the cadences, the humour and the passion come to life. I humbly suggest that in future all published copies of this work should come with an additional CD so that people like me can enjoy a thing we otherwise might not.
