Merry Christmas 2018

A year with Donald Trump as leader of the Western world has been challenging to some myself included but I'm sure even the President of The United States of America looks forward to the jingle-jangle of the bells, the solstice bells that have rung now for millennia. I wonder though does Mister Trump enjoy poetry? If he does then what about spoken word poetry? Will he receive a book of poems in his stocking? I suspect not. Pity. Poetry, whether written or oral, is such a delight.

To lovers of poetry especially those who have enjoyed this year's supply as posted here on 'Something For The Weekend, Sir?' we wish one and all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to them, their families and their friends.
