Great Days Out No. 1 - The Land Of Lost Content

A terrific little museum in Shropshire we visited recently on the way to Knighton in Powys. Absolutely crammed full of stuff from old gas masks to phtos of Ken Dodd, ancient cereal packets and a jacket worn by Charlton Heston. It reminded me of the art installations of Bruce Lacey and Jeff Nuttall in the basement of Better Books in London in the 60's.

How fascinating and how very British :D

Can't help thinking even way back then, colour co-ordination in home decor might have been slightly more in evidence than the picture would suggest...

Lord love us waht a calamity of colour. Lovely though but I think Jinksy may be right although she never met by Great Aunt Olive. Posh Lady from Richmond but batty as hell with a wayward sense of eccentricity. I think she may have approved of the decor!
