Money Boxes

We seem to have aquired a dozen or so cast iron money boxes that are copies of old victorian money boxes. Hazel's sister buys her one every Xmas. They are great fun and employ some clever mechanism whereby the coin is catapulted into the slot with the aid of a trigger and spring. They are displayed on the stairs - one on every step so you have to be careful not to trip over them.

Well! The money boxes themselves area fantastic addition to anyones collection but this short film, along with the sound track is quite wonderful. Why does modern technology not compare to these charming creations?

Thanks CJ. If I'd put togther the full credits I would have also included myself as cameraman, special effects, money box operator, producer, etc. but that would have meant the credits being longer than the film itself!
The mere fact that you can make films and show them to potentially millions of people in a matter of minutes is very liberating.

I realised after I re-rad my comments how foolish they were. I still think the Victorian inventions are better for me as they are a little wierd whilst being vaery tactile whereas modern technology, as proven by your excellent short film, is equally worthy just not as incredible in its 'newness' to be able to appreciate in quite the same way.

Valished is the WF. And quite right too!
