Wittgenstein's Grave

Find more videos like this on OPEN Fluxus

Inspired by Hazel's trip to Glossop with some students to celebrate Wittgensteins' kite flying trips. She takes some 1st years every Spring to make kites and fly them on the Moors. They go to the pub for lunch where Wittengenstein used to drink and do poetry readings and performance much to the alarm of the natives.

Totally mad but utterly wonderful. I thought he was a philosopher not a poet?

It's the students who will read poetry and do performances not Wittgenstein. I could have phrased it a bit better.

I knew there was an unexplained gap
in my education.This sounds great.
I'd like to join the Mad Course 101
Does Hazel accept mature aged Antipodeans as students?

Sure rallentanda - Hazel's course has a few mature students and happy to take more. Next year is over subscribed however and so you'll have to wait until 2012!

Yep, Mad works for me.

Google "Wittgenstein's Poker" to see what happens when a philosopher "loses it"
Karl Popper 1, Wittgenstein 0. (Wish I'd been there!)

Only kidding! Tell Hazel she has another aging student keen to join. She has already taken on board one Essex boy so another, albeit a 'student', should be no hassle at all!
